breadalbane   This small ‘kirk’, in its picturesque setting by the roadside, was built in 1849 by original settlers in the Utica area (just west of Port Perry), who were predominantly from Scotland.

Once part of a two-point charge with St. John’s, it has been closed since 1939, though there is a decoration commemorative service annually on the first Sunday of June at 2:30 p.m.

Care of the Breadalbane Church and adjoining Cemetery are the responsibility of the Breadalbane Cemetery Board.  Any inquiries regarding the purchase of cemetery lots should be directed to Darlene Christie at 905-985-8094.
