We are a welcoming, Christ-centred, and kid-friendly congregation who seeks to serve God with love and compassion in our local and world community.  

Our vibrant contemporary/traditional worship service is at 10am Sunday mornings at 319 Queen St., just west of Simcoe St. in Port Perry, Ontario. 

252 Basics Sunday School happens during the service. 

St. John’s newly-renovated building is equipped with an elevator and has wheelchair accessible facilities.

Easter Events and Services

In this season of Lent,  we have approached the cross with special events such as the Wednesday Lenten Service Lunches and our Tuesday morning and Thursday evening Bible studies with “The Cross” study guide.  As the following Easter events unfold we hope that you will be able to participate, and experience anew the mystery and beauty of Christ’s love.

Palm Sunday Service, April 1st:  10:00 a.m.  “No Stone Could Hold Him”   A service of music by the St. John’s Choir, directed by Oksana Hahn, which includes hymns, prayers and scripture readings.  All are welcome. **

Good Friday Walk, April 6th:  Organized by the local churches of Port Perry, the Stations of the Cross begins at 9:30am at the gazebo at Palmer Park, and finishes at Port Perry United where refreshments will be served.

Easter Sunday Service, April 8th:  10:00 a.m.   “Christ is Risen!  He is risen indeed!”  Celebrate with us our risen Saviour, as we worship Him, reflecting on the significance of this day.  Note that Communion will be served.  Our puppet ministry will be a highlight for the kids. **

Lenten Luncheons Held Every Wednesday in March

      A joint project of the churches of Port Perry and area, held conveniently close to downtown at St. John’s – come for a brief Lenten service and lunch that will fit into everyone’s lunch hour.

Wednesdays during March from 12:10 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.

And a reminder that the Good Friday walk is Friday, April 6th, 9:30 a.m., gathering at the gazebo in Palmer Park.

Annual Scugog Christian Unity Service

Christmas Daycamp – Sat. Dec. 17th

Looking for a chance to slip out and get some Christmas shopping done without the kids peeking?  We are hosting a Christmas time Daycamp for kids, Sat.
